Richard Bruce Cheney is the son Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born January 30, 1941, in Lincoln Nebraska. When Richard Bruce Cheney turned 13, he and his family moved from Lincoln Nebraska to Casper Wyoming where his father headed the U.S. Department of Agriculture's regional conservation districts.
