Her birthplace was Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Her full name is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson has Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She is both Mexican and American. She has always been a sports enthusiast. Gerina began playing golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina attended Goddard High School for her higher education in high school. While in high school, she won the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico. As a volleyball player, she was also a participant in state tournaments. At the age of 2003, she began her studies at the University of Texas. As a senior, she won every tournament she participated. In her undergraduate career she took home the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and the UTEP Female athlete of year.
